As a kidney transplant recipient, I was restricted from getting pregnant for a while. However, my desire to be a mom was so big that it made me sad. In order to decrease our sadness, my husband and I decided to adopt a fur baby from Animal House Shelter in February 2017. Thor formerly known as Baxter shined a light in our small family and has made us feel so happy. He is a spoiled little fur boy!
