This is Koda. He was a scared one year old pup that we met at Animal House. He smelled like skunk, he was covered in scabs, and all he wanted to do is melt into the wall and pretend we weren't there. Naturally, we had to take him home! He spent most of his time in his new home hiding in a corner, staring at the wall. We had to carry him down the stairs to the yard so he would pee. He was that scared and untrusting. Fast forward a year and Koda is now a protective big brother that loves to zoom around the yard, play with all his toys, go on daily walks, swim in any water he can find, and most importantly, snuggle with us whenever he can. He even sleeps in our bed with us! Our home wouldn't be home without him.
