Rudi and Ellie came into my life at a very fragile time. I was still mourning the loss of two of my beloved pups and one cat. All who brought me such unconditional love and joy. Soon after, I lost my mother-in-law, two brother-in law's and one dear friend within a month.
Then the pandemic hit and rumors were spreading that the state and country were going to shut down. I knew I would not want to be alone during the day and thought about all the animals that would be and have been alone. I thought I'm ready. I'm going to get another dog. When I saw these two together my heart said, well I guess you're going to get two.
They showed such love and I was able to move through grief . I love my fur-babies, we are bonded --- along with my three cats.
