Mojo

Owner Name
Ann Sherman

Pet Quirks
Mojo was our Goodwill Ambassador. He loved visitors and would want to go with any Trick or Treaters who came to the door.

Pet Story or Bio
Mojo followed my husband home one rainy Boxing Day, and adopted us after we fed and watered him. No one claimed him, and one day on a walk, he dragged me into a backyard, like he knew the place. A worker repairing the house said the former tenants had cleared out in the middle of the night after ripping wiring, etc. out of the walls. So we figured they'd abandoned him. That explained why he didn't like to be left home when we went out and was so relieved when we came back. Mojo moved with us from San Jose, CA to NM, riding in a laundry basket between the moving truck seats. He liked road trips, french fries, and tortilla chips. He was a neighborhood celebrity, beloved by the crossing guards and kids at Annunciation Catholic School who enjoyed petting him. Despite two knee injuries, he kept plugging along until he was nearly 20 years old, passing away December 8, 2025.
