Jolly is an 18 month old Yorkshire Terrier mix. We adopted her from the Vola Lawson Animal Shelter in July 2018. Her previous owner was willing to euthanize her because she was born with a liver shunt and would need expensive surgery to correct her condition. Otherwise, she would likely live only 2 or 3 years. Fortunately, she was surrendered and we found her at Vola Lawson. Knowing her condition, we adopted her and gave her the surgery she needed. Her surgery was a success and now she will have a normal life span with us and her Australian Shepherd sister.
