Hi, I’m Callie (Calypso)! I’m about 3 years old and found my home about 7 months ago. I had a ruff start in life and spent a long long time in shelters before the staff at AWLA put all their love and effort into finding me a human to love. My new mommy is sooo grateful that I chose to be her pretty pitty! I wasn’t perfect- I was very scared around people when mommy first met me and wasn’t sure how to act. But with a little bit of training and a whole lot of puppy love and snuggles, I’ve become a total sweetheart and mommas girl! Now I meet nice humans and they give me treats and scratch my belly and tell me what a good girl I am! Adopted life has been good to me, so I’m adjusting very well. I spend my days on long walks and play dates with puppy friends, and then I enjoy a nice bone and a snooze on mommy’s lap. Shh, don’t tell her I’m too big to be a lap dog!
