Hi, I'm Birdy! I found my forever home in February 2018, when my momma adopted me from the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria. I'm a spry 13-year old Miniature Schnauzer and even though I have an advanced heart murmur, lots of cysts, and had many teeth removed at the shelter-- I can fool you for a young pup! My momma says she loved me from the moment I curled into her lap when we met. Now I'm in my forever home with my forever family, my dog Auntie takes great care of me while momma's away :) I enjoy playing outside, sniffing around, playing with other dogs (young and old), helping my humans with their chores...but most of all, I love my naps! I can nap anywhere! Please give some love to my shelter friends and consider taking one of us senior dogs home!
