Your Pet's Story or Bio
We adopted Sophie from AWLA after she formed a psychic bond with my wife. We took awhile to recover after our previous rescue dog passed away. It took time to find Sophie, went to several shelters and rescue groups. She looked into my wife's eyes and they were both bonded ever since. She is a sweetheart, social with other dogs, not understanding hostility. Loves people, though wants to warn us of anything she finds threatening, which is a lot since she's a bit of a chicken. My wife thinks she's trained Sophie, but it's probably the other way around. She misses our daughter when she's at college and revels when her pack is all together. Loves pets and belly rubs. Quite the chow hound, eats carrots to avoid getting too overweight. Perplexed by a stuffed clone we got of her.
