Bailey is our bounce-back beagle. No matter what happens, he just keeps on trucking. We fell hard for him 10 years ago at AWLA. In the last five years, his resiliency has been in overdrive. He lost his eyes to Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever in 2011; then, two months later, while adjusting to not having depth perception, broke his back jumping off the bed. He came out of both surgeries full of energy and ready for snacks. Last year, he was diagnosed with kidney failure and given six months to live. And 18 months later, he's still here, still happy and ready for his close-up in your calendar.
