Your Pet's Story or Bio
Shirley was adopted from AWLA in March of 2015. Her than name was Sissy, we decided to name her Shirley(Shirley of Shirlington!). She was brought in from a shelter in Southern Virginia and had a hernia on her bladder and was not in good shape. The AWLA saved Shirley's life and we are so grateful. From the day we got her from the shelter to now she has done a 180! Shirley brings my husband and I so much joy, Norman our 13 year old Cat might not agree! Shirley's hobbies include rolling around in the grass, trying to play with the big dogs, eating(typical beagle), sleeping and chasing after bees and rabbits.
