Persimmon actually belongs to my son's violin teacher (I have her permission to submit his picture). He was adopted as a kitten, and always seemed to have a flair for the dramatic, including striking poses for the camera. I snapped this impromptu picture while waiting for my son to finish a lesson - it is my favorite picture of Persimmon because it captures his playful expression and photogenicity.
