Eli is a 3-year old Jack Russell/Silky Terrier mix who is 11 pounds of pure love and terrier "swagger." He is a rescue from South Carolina, found on-line, whose likeness to a Dr. Seuss-inspired critter captured our hearts. He spent his first half year with us with several bells attached to the collar on his little 3-pound body to avoid inadvertent contact with the bottom of our feet! Eli has never grasped the concept that size matters and will touch noses with Great Danes and Chihuahuas alike. The mailman is another matter. He has mastered many tricks, and will happily perform for chicken treats. His favorite game is "green bone," a terrier tug of war/fetch with the only toy we have discovered to be truly "terrier proof." Tell him to find his green bone and he will search the house to bring it to us. What else from the cutest, smartest dog ever?
