I found Joey in a semi isolated area at AWLA.the info card said he was not good with other dogs.,but I fell in love!AND,I’m a pet sitter-what was I thinking?I brought him home Oct.28,2008.He was 2yrs.,2mths.old.I did research on his looks and characteristics-tree climber,very fast runner,and the cutest ears!and realized he may be part of the Lacy mountain breed;hence the barking way of herding other dogs.We went to the dog park every day to get socialized and it finally clicked that it was fun to play with other dogs!He is 12 now-June 26- and became one of the sweetest dogs in my neighborhood!love him to pieces!!
