Luna came into our lives and hearts when our family was looking to rescue another dog, shortly after the loss of our beloved dog of 20 years. After many unsuccessful attempts to find the right rescue avenue, we stopped at one last event. The event unfortunately had ended by the time we got there, however; a kind volunteer told us they just got news of a litter of hound puppies in route from Roanoke. Once they arrived, I sat with them and Luna was the first one to come up to me, where she gave me a kiss and melted by heart with her adorable eyes. At that moment I knew she was the one. Since rescuing her, Luna has grown into a goofy, sweet pup, that always makes us smile 😊 Her hobbies include attending Dogtopia Dog Daycare, where she makes many new friends, chewing on toys, and sporting her “doggles” on car rides! We are incredibly fortunate to have her in our lives and we hope to help other dogs, just like her, find their forever homes!
