Stevie, aka Sara at AWLA, weighed a scratchy, thin-haired 25lbs when adopted in September. Named after Stevie Budd, she now comes in at 45lbs, with come-hither eyes, a thick coat, and a continuously active hound's nose. She has a small army of playmates, esp. Sawyer, Van, and AWLA alum (now known as) Murray. Stevie sits politely in spying a squirrel, hoping it will come on over for a pat on the head. She practices reverse fetching: shoes and toys should be scattered around the house. She is a titled Grandmaster of finding food in hidden places.
