Angels Around Us is in memory of my sister in law Jeanette Lavelle who passed away this November from cancer. If you are familiar with the term “Steel Magnolia” (a southern women that exemplifies traditional Femininity as well as uncommon fortitude); that perfectly describes Jean. Her commitment to her faith and her family was unparalleled. Our family was better for having her as a part of it. We choose to remember her as always smiling, always with a quick wit, a great laugh, a warm hug, and an encouraging word. She lives with the angels now, our personal guardian angel.
