Raleigh has been my shining light, my furry prozac and my physical trainer during this calamity.
Raleigh has kept me moving!!! Without him I would sit in front of the TV and waste away. Not only his necessity to go for walks but his love of playing. Raleigh loves to run around like mad in the yard with the ball in his mouth. He's also been keeping me company while I'm picking up branches and sticks after every rain storm. But he thinks I'm piling up the sticks for HIM ;) to sort through, looking for that perfect one.

Raleigh is named for my favorite place in the world, Raleigh, North Carolina, so that alone generates a smile on my face. But mostly, it's his sweet, loving, devoted face that makes getting out of bed every day so worth it.
