Short story about how the animal has changed the owner's life for the better
Evelyn traveled around the country with me for a few months while I was a long haul trucker. Every night, she would start yelling at me around 7:00 pm and that's when it was time to stop working and start playing and snuggling. She was great company, kept my spirits up, and gave me someone to talk to, even if she couldn't talk back. For the past year and half, she's been a happy little house cat and getting in all sorts of trouble with her brother, Sasha. She has brought so much love and joy into my life.
