My Pet's Story
Loki is “Proud to be an American” furbaby. 🇺🇸. Loki just turned 7 years old on 5/11. He came into our lives a year to date after my 15 yr old Border Collie had passed away from a brown recluse spider 🕷️bite. I was devastated, went in to depression and had said I was never going to get another dog. Then I saw a lady on FB almost a year later who had a litter and was going to take them to a rescue as she did not want them. I fell in love with Loki when I saw his picture and I begged her to let me have him, he was 8 weeks old, told her I would pay for him, she agreed. I paid for a vet visit before picking him up in WV and the report came back that Loki had a heart murmur. I told her I didn’t care, I will take excellent care of him and give him the best life he deserves. Loki became a part of our family at 10 weeks old. He is my rock, my shadow (for sure), my partner and my life. I quit my job four months after I picked him up so I could take care of him. I have no doubt we saved each other and that my boy Tucker who passed away sent Loki to me. ❤️
