Shmoo was rescued by A Purposeful Rescue with his two brothers who immediately caught my eye. I volunteered to foster one, and the magical unicorn that Shmoo is, snuck into the wrong vehicle and I ended up with the wrong puppy-who was the exact right puppy for me. Shmoo was pretty frightened by everything-being left alone, walking on leash, paper bags (who isn’t), but his magical unicorn foster brother Moose taught him quickly that life isn’t that scary. Of course, Shmoo became a permanent fixture in our laughter filled lives. Both boys freelance as therapists, comedians, and kitten babysitters.
