Animal’s Story
Maple and her brother were rescued by ARF in 2019. Underweight and suffering from heartworm, she was our first foster dog and recovered with us for five weeks . She's six years old, part Alaskan Malamute, part Airedale Terrier, and VERY athletic! Maple stole our hearts, but our apartment was not the best fit for her sporty life. Sometimes adopters overlook adult dogs because they want to start fresh and train a puppy. Maple patiently waited at ARF for over a month, but she found her perfect family - with two active kids and a big backyard! She is a JOY and still visits with us. Maple definitely left paw prints on our hearts, and we hope you will support ARF and other adult dogs looking for their forever families!
