Animal’s Story
I adopted Bear in early February after falling in love with his face on the website. My husband passed in early January after a long illness. The previous November, we had to put down our Maine Coon. We had always had cats, but deep down I am a dog person. I decided it was time to adopt a friend.

Bear has been the BEST little companion and buddy! He is smart, well-behaved, playful, and snugly - all wrapped up in one handsome and hugable 14lb. package. He follows me everywhere, loves belly rubs, has a great time on our walks, and sleeps on the bed with me at night. He is funny and full of personality, and makes me laugh daily!

Thank you ARF for all you do to save the animals and their people! I'm looking forward to a long and happy partnership with my little Bear boy.
