Animal’s Story
Rescued at 9 months old, Ava was found roaming the streets of Downy, CA very frail and dehydrated. The day we adopted her was the day she was actually scheduled to bee euthanized. We saw her photo (fell in love) and committed to adopting her. They named her Ava and she was driven up to Northern CA along with 10 other dogs that were saved from being euthanized. We met the rescuer at the Walnut Creek Bart station on July 27, 2014 and took her home with us. She is now a very plump 23 lbs and the happiest of dogs and we are so very grateful to have her in our family. ..She's our girl!
