Animal’s Story
Vaya is a Career Changed Guide Dog for the Blind! She was career changed because of "dog distraction" (she loves meeting other dogs) and she joined our family in 2017 when she was a little for 1.5 years! She is a therapy dog at Horizons Center for Independent Study where I teach, and Vaya loves her job greeting the students and staff each day! She's a real sweetie and so patient and calm! She loves hiking in our backyard, the Lime Ridge Open Space (where this photo was taken) and swimming in lakes, oceans and pools! Her name means "go" in Spanish and that is exactly what she likes to do!
