Animal’s Story
Tutzie is a miniature schnauzer born April 3, 2007. She was exactly 6 months old when she came home to live with me and her adopted 'sista', 16 month old schnauzer Riley. The singing 'sistas' were absolutely inseparable and always on the lookout for crazy fun. But then in 2017, Tutzie lost her best friend Riley to congenital heart failure. That loss was very difficult for both of us, but especially Tutz. Although Tutzie welcomed all the love she could get from me, she needed a canine companion to chase and play with. So in 2018, we rescued from CWOB a very silly year old miniature schnauzer from Mexico. Now 14+, Tutzie has Cushing's disease and her eyesight is beginning to fail, but she still claims Fort Funston as her favorite doggie sniffing park in San Francisco. She's a remarkable little girl loved by Twizil and me.
