Animal’s Story
Elmo was fascinated by the fish we were babysitting for a friend. What are these strange creatures? Can I play with them or are they a tasty snack?!? Elmo would stare at them for hours. (Note: No fish or cats were harmed during their visit).

While Elmo was not ARF adopted he is the reason why, in 2007, I became an ARF volunteer. When he became ill, and needed 24-hour a day care, I learned how much I could help an animal just by being a calm and supportive presence. After he passed ARF helped me heal and move forward to adopt and love more feline family members. Miss you, Elmo, our sweet man.
