Animal’s Story
Irwin was not on my 2023 bingo card. I had no intention of adopting a pet. He was found by coworkers in my PreK outdoor classroom after being hit by a car. He had a head wound, concussion, dehydration, bleeding around one eye, and paws covered in foxtails. He was not microchipped, neutered, and did not have a collar. I offered to foster him for a few days, and immediately fell in love! The first night he was with us, he just wanted cuddles. He is now fully recovered, vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, and very well loved! This picture was taken a month after he joined our family, and is wearing his first bow tie. He is such a gentle, sweet soul, and our family is forever grateful that our paths crossed with his.
