Pet's Story or Bio
We adopted sweet Ella from Living Free in 2015. Although she’s had both eyes removed, she is fearless. Most people that meet her don’t even realize she is blind until I tell them. She loves going for walks and especially loves the trails at the Nature Center. Her love of the outdoors and exercise encouraged me to get off the couch more and more...and eventually led to me running the NYC Marathon in 2016 and 2017. I had no idea that one little fur ball could have such an impact on our lives. She is a “rescue”, but I believe we rescued each other.
