Pet's Story or Bio
I adopted Liv from ARF in March of last year. She’d been rescued from Black Mountain trail by some hikers, and when she found her way to me I assumed she recently had puppies. A few weeks later it was confirmed that she was actually pregnant with five puppies, and I assisted with her birth. ARF was a huge help! All of Liv’s puppies have happy homes now, and I’m spoiling her every day. She’s the most loving and grateful dog I’ve ever had, and I feel so blessed to have her in my life. Her puppies have made so many people happy, including a female who went to Kansas and became trained as a service dog to children. To me, Liv isn’t only Pet of the Year, she’s one of the most wonderful and memorable pets to have ever lived on the Hill!
