Pet's Story or BioHi, Living Free saved me from a 24 hour euthanasia. What a blessing. My daddies rescued me a month later. I was very confused but grateful for my new home, even though I had never seen snow or so much rain like on Valentines Day. And the needles in our yard kinda hurt back then. That rain nearly killed me. I tried to tell my dads that such weather really stresses me but they don't speak my language. Then one of my dads saw what was going on and took me on a very dark, wet night through a place called Garner Valley. Dad was terrified because I was dying and the roads were washed out and this place had been evacuated! He was very scared but kept telling me to hang on. We could not get to Hemet or Beaumont because the mountain roads were gone! I nearly died but the very talented doctors and nurses at the Temecula Emergency Animal Hospital saved me. I was not sure I was worthy of living because my previous parent who I had known all of my life left me. Someone said they got sick and went to heaven and there was no one left to care for me. That is why I was taken away. I thought that I wasn't up to the big and scary task of new parents, but they kept visiting me so I thought It best to give them a chance. I got to come home home after 9 days! They showed me that I was once again really loved, and I chose to get better. This year has been much better, but I still don't care so much for the winter. I do love curling up everyday with my dads while they watch Netflix and Ohio State Football. I even have a Buckeye Sweater Vest. I watch TV too, especially when I see and hear puppies and big dogs. I am so grateful for pet rescue places and I hear that ARF is really generous and very cool. So I said yes when my dads asked me to share this photo. Some say I look like Grommit in this picture. I don't know who that is but I like the picture. I even liked the snow that day. Thanks for checking me out, now go vote. Your money goes to the best cause and will even save lives!
Love, Dori
