Pet's Story or Bio
This is Sunka, he's a ten year old American Staffordshire Terrier.
I saw a post about him on Facebook in the summer of 2015, it said he was in a shelter on the "euth list," he looked so scared and had the saddest face I ever saw! I agreed to foster him for the rescue that saved his life. I had him for two days when it became clear that he was supposed to be mine. Funny how things work out. I wasn't even thinking about getting a dog, and now we're inseparable. I can't say enough about his gentle, calm nature. When my dad was in a memory care facility, I'd take Sunka with me to visit him, and he'd go around to each person to let them pet him and say "hi." Now he thinks he has to do the same thing wherever we go. He enjoys riding in the car and went on a cross country road trip with me in 2017.
He loves going to the beach, and playing with his friends, especially his girlfriend Deja, and his best buddy Hank. He even has a cat friend named Steve. Sunka brings a lot of joy into my life and captivates people wherever he goes. And because ARF helps animals, Sunka and I want to help ARF. We don't care so much about winning, as making some money to donate! But if he wins, that's great too! Thanks for taking the time to read his story and vote.
