Daisy adopted us in 4/5/11 she was abandoned on HWY 243 & Twin Pines Rd. Emaciated, had been shot, covered in ticks. Weighing only 23lbs. Daisy was in desperate need of a blood transfusion because of the ticks. Her future was grim, as she was knocking at deaths door.... 8 years later 1/14/19 Daisy and I said farewell to each other. She tilted the scale at a whopping 83lbs!! Daisy loved life! She adored small children, and cats, and just LOVED kittens!! And food apparently! ! Her best buddy Hunter has been by her side thru thick and thin for the last 5yrs. And misses her dearly. Daisy took him under her Paw when he was 10wks old. Daisy was an excellent guard dog as it may be.. she protected our home from all the bunnies and ground squirrels... she just dared them to get close to the fence!! With jowls that could flap like nothing you have never seen before, and a wiggle but that had more energy than that pink rabbit... and the smells that came out of her could melt metal!! The extreme heavy panting when excited, the snoring that could wake the dead.. I would do it all over again 100x's over with her.
