Pet's Story or Bio
After having to retire I foubnd myself depressed rarely emerging from my home. I fostered her for ARF, upon being adopted as a year old puppy she was returned within 3 days, ARF called me and she was sitting in large cage staring at the wall as if thinking "what did I do wrong?" It was heartbreaking and I vowed she wouldn't go through that again adopting her on the spot. She became my best friend and constant companion, I didn't go anywhere with her. Friends, store clerks, bank tellers et al knew her. I'd let her run off leash if not near highway. She'd chase squirrels, tree an annoyed bobcat, splash through creek. I registered her as an emotional support dog and added a 2nd mommy to her chip, heading into acrimonious divorce I wanted to ensure she was all mine which she was until my estranged husband sent sheriff's to take a terrified dog away from me when she and l lived with 3 friends in a small trailer. It was as traumatic for we 4 adults as it was for her. I was not able to cope and my best friend had to carry her to a patrol car where she struggled to gain her footing on hard seat in rear. She was petrified. Last time I saw her 9/12 I was across the street from my home, she ran out and saw me but so did my husband and left without a word only to discover upon arrest I couldn't be within 100 yards of my home. An additional warrant noted that my husband called RSO to report seeing my BF car and hearing my voice calling out "Mini Mini Mini it's Mommy!" I've wanted to give up at times, I've never fought that hard for anything in life only to lose but refuse to believe she will not be all mine upon divorce. Seeing her happy lille face makes me smile, I have no problem avoiding tollgate rd entirely and seeing all the tulips and daffodils I planted are not going unseen, I can admire them anywhere except county jail. She's the cutest, most intelligent, loyal little soul I've ever known and will remember and love me until I can get her back. Vote for my babygirl!
