Pet's Story or Bio
I met Hercules when I was visiting a friend at her temporary new home. I looked out the back door and there "he" was in all of his majesty. Buff and ruggedly handsome. Big-boned and very muscular like he hit the gym regularly. I was smitten. Our eyes made contact and I knew I was in deep. I wanted to offer the backyard drifter some water and food but my friend said "no" she didn't want any stray cats. I gave the handsome stranger water anyway. The next time I visited, "he" was in the kitchen. As I scanned the kitchen I spotted several bowls on the floor. One had steak, one had chicken, one had milk and one had water. I said to my friend, I thought you said you didn't want a cat? She said, "Well, he sauntered in and crawled into bed with me and was a perfect gentleman so I let him stay. You have to take him home with you because I'm moving out in two weeks". I didn't blink an eye and I did just that and I never looked back. From the moment he graced my home with his paws, he was the most well-behaved cat I have ever had. He never scratched the furniture, never peed on anything except his litter box, and was very stoic and chill around my two dogs and guests. Hercules had earned his name. He was a gentle giant. Before we rescued each other, he had been fending off attacks from feral cat street gangs. He had scratch scars over his face, nose, and left eye. I was worried about his eye. It progressively got worse until he was in so much pain that I had to make that incredibly difficult decision to have it removed. He recovered and adjusted to one eye quickly and he was acting like a kitten again. Hercules should get your vote not because he's perfect-looking but because he survived the odds with class and character. Something we can all aspire to. Hercules became my in-office Hypnotherapy mascot. He had a keen sense of when to gently step in to comfort my fragile clients as he always did with me. If I was upset or crying, he would come running into the room and sit on my chest and breathe with me. He is the definition of an emotional support service animal. I hope you get to meet him one day soon. VOTE FOR HERCULES!!! 😊🙏🏻😻
