Pet's Story or Bio
Freddie was just a B + W face in an adoption newspaper, and we drove over an hour to meet him. I didn't mean to get such a short dog, but it turned out he is a Poodle/Basset mix, with a few other influences - what a surprise! He became Fiona's big brother when we adopted her a few years later, but she grew a lot in a few months and dwarfed him. Freddie is our special-needs pup, with a distorted front leg and a permanent limp, but he's a game little fellow who loves belly rubs, tennis balls, and squeak toys. His appetite is legendary, and he'll catch treats in the air - a real shark! Any food item is a prize, including fruits and veggies (broccoli, anyone?) Our Freddie is a champion cuddler, known all over Seal Beach with his REI doggie boots to protect those tender feet. He and Fiona love the car and visit Idyllwild every month to explore the woods and trails.
