Pet's Story or Bio
Panchi, the American Kestrel, was rescued as a nestling when the tree she was hatched in was cut down by developers. Due to her young age, she became imprinted on people and was taken in by a local falconer. Panchi is now an Idyllwild local and ambassador bird! She regularly participates in community outreach at the Idyllwild Nature Center, where she helps to inspire everyone about raptor conservation and the amazing world just outside our doors.
