In 2003 I was asked to babysit this beauty for six weeks. She had just turned one and was named Monroe.

After six months, I changed her name and she allowed me and her dad, to be her best friend for 17 years. We have so many wonderful memories of her and her “little greenie,” a toy mouse that I would throw and she would retrieve, her killing a fly in one swipe after we spent the day trying to kill it and watching my iPad.

The most difficult but loving decision was to say good-bye to her in May 2020 after she had been suffering from renal failure. She lived a life I wish every cat could live.

I felt she could help raise money for the 2022 calendar, along with our current love, Stella Bella.
