River supports the ARLNH (and all rescues) because love can't be bought, but it can be rescued. She loves everyone at ARL and coming in for visits is one of her favorite things!

Tell us what makes your dog better than all the rest!
River came into my life by chance; I came across her photo on a rescue group's page online in 2016, and within a week she had joined the family! She has been through so much; before she joined us, she had been in four(!!!) different homes in 3 different states--she wasn't even two years old yet! She has kept us on our toes over these past few years, and she has definitely perfected the pitiful "puppy dog eyes" face. Throughout it all, the look of love and happiness on her face is undeniable. River is a constant joy and I'm so grateful for the love she shares with us every day.
