Dahlia is a rescue Greyhound. She’s the 3rd rescue Greyhound we’ve adopted over the years. Every pet I’ve had growing up has come from a rescue shelter or program. Words cannot describe how important rescue leagues & shelters are & how crucial it is that they maintain funding & support

Tell us what makes your pet better than all the rest!
We named our dog Dahlia after my wife’s favorite flower. We don’t feel she’s better than the rest, but we know she’s the best for us. Dahia loves to go on walks to areas with long, straight pathways where she can run unrestricted…leaving us in the dust….it took a lot of time, patience & training, but she always comes right back to us!

Watching her run is just next level entertainment because we can just see how much she loves it. We refer to her as the world’s fastest couch potato because when she’s not running, she’s power napping

Dahlia also loves the water…the muddier, the better…wallowing & basking it all in. Despite this, she is very much a debutant & sleeps in her own room on a full sized bed. She often demands to be hand fed & requires random bribes (treats) & early morning walks …like really early…we’re talking 5:30 am wake up calls …aka, moans, whines & licks to the face…rinse, wash, repeat.

She’s spoiled rotten & she knows it. One look at those eyes & one just helplessly turns into silly putty
