We got Jasper 2 years ago from the MSPCA. He was rescued as a stray from South Carolina, where he was brought to the Nevin's Farm shelter in Methuen, MA and put up for adoption. The first time we went to Nevin's Farm during our search for a new furbaby, we saw Jasper. He had no pending adoptions like all of the other animals, and we didnt understand why because he was the most handsome boy. We instantly had a connection with him. We asked to open his cage to meet him and he basically jumped in our arms to come home. We knew he was the one. He seemed very happy to have found a furever home. We believe he would want the same for other animals in need of a family.

Tell us what makes your pet better than all the rest!
Jasper is an orange tabby which already makes him better than the rest. He is very smart...most of the time. We know cats usually meow here and there...but Jasper talks, all...the...time. Non-stop actually. He has conversations with us, and sometimes he barks like a dog or quacks like a duck. He'll tell us whatever is on his mind. I call him my pigeon boy because he snores in his sleep and sometimes sounds like he's a cooing pigeon. He loves to play fetch with his favorite toy and steal all of my hair elastics. Jasper is a professional bird watcher, he even tries to call them. He loves other animals whether it be birds, lizards or other cats. His eyes are one of his best features, they are so wide and vibrant. On top of everything, he has the most personality of any cat we have ever met, and that's incredible, just like Jasper.
