Miss Moon wants every animal brought to the shelter to be cared for until they find a forever home like she did! Donations help.
Miss Moon has helped in another way too! She has donated a copy of the book 'The Adventures of Miss Moon- a true story' found on Amazon to the children's reading program. The children come to the shelter and read books to the animals! What a wonderful program!

The minute I met Miss Moon, I knew she was special. She was beautiful and very affectionate. She was the perfect cat for me!
Soon after bringing her home and getting her settled in, it became obvious that she was an indoor/ outdoor cat! We let her outside.
Before long, she was known as the 'Community Cat!' Everyone in the neighborhood had met her and knew her name! She was friendly with everyone and would let anybody pet her, including the young children!
She would cry at the neighbor's door until they let her in for a visit, hop into the laps of people sitting on their porches, and explore the male man's truck!
The neighborhood kids love to come to my door and report the mischief she has gotten into! Just like the day she got stuck on people's rooftops, twice!
I love cats and have always owned at least one, if not more. I loved each one of them but none of them have been 'special' like Miss Moon! She loves everyone and is definitely the 'Community Cat!'
