Hey I’m George The Puggle. I had a rough start on the streets of Vegas, but was saved by a rescue when I was just a little guy. They fed me, clothed me, brought me to the dentist, got me a mani/pedi, and best of all - showed me what love is. I still know love today, but it all started when my Vegas rescue took me in. So if my good looks & charm can help raise treat funds and give love to other lost pets, I’ll do it! Especially if it means becoming THE “Beer Can Label Dog Model” - ahhh..my destiny!

Since Vegas, my Momma and I are in MA and she sure loves me too. (I mean LOOK at me, don’t you?!?) She snuggles, she pats, she plays, she walks AND she feeeeeds me! And even now, with all my “wisdom” (mom calls it “arthritis”?!?) at 15, she still brings me on hikes. But NOW when I tucker out, I get to hitch a ride in a bag by her side! She loves me, people love me, and I think I’m quite a catch too!
Do you think I am? Yes? (Answer: Yes, yes you do!) - then vote for me here, so other animals can have another chance to know love and care! I know the ARLNH is ready and waiting, but as Momma says “treats don’t grow on trees”…..

Tell us what makes your pet better than all the rest!
George’s personality is certainly priceless, but look at that face (so cute it'd be perfect on a beer can, don’t ya think?!?). He’s 15 now and while things have mellowed out a bit since I got him at age 2, his joy is still infectious to any and all who meet him. The twinkle in his eyes that melts your heart, the waggles of the tail when anybody comes thru the door, and certainly that priceless smile! Rescuing him was the greatest thing I’ve ever done. Whether his life long goal of being a dog model is fulfilled or not, we are both thrilled to do anything to support any animal rescue! I’ve never had a pet that didn’t come from a rescue. A pets new lease on life starts with the rescue - they get to know them, care for their health and food needs, and introduce them to what care, consistency and love really mean.
