Pet's Story or Bio
Trixie was picked up as a stray in rural Arkansas. She was held in animal control for over 3 months and was going to be euthanized when Arrow Dog Rescue became aware of her plight and asked for a volunteer to foster her. I volunteered. When she came to us she had been shaved down to nothing and we thought she was a short haired dog!

She was so gentle, calm, well-mannered, and loving that we decided we couldn't bear to part with her. One year later and she has completed 3 levels of Obedience training, 2 levels of Agility training, has earned her Canine Good Citizenship award, has earned a Barn Hunt title, and will soon begin certification to become a Therapy Dog!

Her beautiful coat has grown out and DNA testing shows she is mostly Australian Shepard and Great Pyrenees. Volunteering to foster her has been one of the best decisions we've ever made. Thank you Arrow Dog Rescue for saving her!
