Pet's Story or Bio
Hank was a half-starved, abused, frightened, very sick boy (heartworm, giardia, and more) when Arrow rescued him from a horrible shelter in Arkansas. He was so scared of everyone that many people said there was no hope for him. Kim and Terri nursed him back to health and taught him that he need not be afraid of all people. Tom and Susan adopted Hank in 2015. He is still a pretty scared guy--he feels safe with very few people and takes a long time to warm up to strangers. But he's healthy and content now after a year in his new home in Iowa, along with his Italian greyhound, puggit, and greyhound packmates.
