Description
My inspiration was the ocean view from my Lani. I chose the cracked egg, because I loved the unevenness. To make my ostrich egg night light, I started with a primer to help give it strength. Then placed resin and epoxy inside to create an ocean. Once that was all dried, I used a dremel to carve my design to outside of my egg. Once that was done, I used acrylics to paint it. Finally added a medium - color changing light and stand finish it off.

Bio
About Wendy- Art has played a big role in my upbringing due to my mother's art background in oil painting and pottery. At an early age, I got drawn to pottery and making things out of clay that was practical for everyday use. Growing up overseas gave me a chance to fall in love with complex Origami and other japanese crafts. In high school, my studies were in pottery and photography. During College I got into clay sculpting, but photography won my heart over! I have won a number of awards for my wildlife and landscape photography. I currently reside in Hawaii and most of my art endeavors are in Chocolate creations, but I still love to try new arts and craft ideas.
