I wanted to pay homage to a few of the animals that touched my life during my time working at Three Ring Ranch, including the famous and unique Zoe. I was inspired to paint these animals in their natural habitat, and during my time working on this, I fell in love with the variety of colors and textures that I was able to utilize to capture the essence of the scenery.

Bio
About the artist. "Esther Wolf is a New York City based artist currently studying at Adelphi University as a psychology major and studio art minor. She has been making art most of her life and has been studying it since age 14. In her time at university, Esther has experimented with multiple media including charcoal, monotype, silkscreen, and collage. She primarily works in oil paint on large scale canvases and focuses on figurative art, most commonly in the form of self-portraits. Esther focuses on depicting her experience with mental illnesses in a way that is startling and thought provoking, yet aesthetically pleasing and technically strong. She uses her paintings as an exploration of color, texture and content. Her art serves as a visual journal and a glimpse into her mind. "
