"Ulua" Ostrich egg in acrylic by John Roth

Description
Acrylic painted ostrich egg depicting a Hawaiian Ulua swimming among a school of smaller bait fish. The egg is free turning on a stand and from each angle a different image. Inspired by the cool schools of fish popping all around the islands, probably due to less people in the water.

Bio
John Roth is originally from Honolulu, Hawaii and has lived on the Big Island (in Waimea) for 12 years. He is a lawyer (estate planning) by day and an artist by night. His art mentor is Marcia Ray. He usually uses acrylic paint and likes to incorporate a lot of color/texture.
