Bio
"Shannon Huber is a contemporary artist living and working in Hatcher Pass, Alaska. A lifelong Alaskan, her artistic works reflect the diverse and textural landscape of Alaska. A graduate of the University Of Alaska, Anchorage, Shannon was awarded the prestigious UAA Art Grant Award, allowing her to expound on her creative endeavors while completing her Bachelors of Art degree in Photography and Experimental Inkjet Printing. Shannon enjoys working with many different mediums, focusing on textural and abstract forms. Using photography, surface design, experimental printing, and encaustic medium allow her to fully express her fascination with organic forms. She has been awarded multiple public works grants that showcase her work in schools and outdoor public spaces. Her work has also been included in private exhibitions and collections."
