This painting was done with watercolor. Watercolor is a challenge to learn because of the blending of water and paint. I just started painting with watercolor three years ago and love the effects I can get.

I am the proud, 72 year-old, grandma of Alex Wood. Alex was diagnosed with a craniopharyngioma brain tumor at the age of four and his life and our family’s lives were changed forever. Alex and I share a love of expressing ourselves in art. Alex is faced with many medical challenges, but is blessed with parents that have dedicated their lives to finding answers for him and others like him.
