Art was a way to escape for me while in the hospital. It was a time to be with others and express ourselves with freedom while we were unable to control our situations. It gave a since of calm to a world that was not.

I’m Heidi Frank a 13 yrs old girl from St.Louis MO who was diagnosed with a Craniopharyngioma tumor in Jan. 2019. It’s been a long road of recovery for me and my family but art has help us through it all. I love to research things about my tumor and it’s effects it has on people to gain more knowledge about what my life will be like. I also love being with my family and friends and spending time with animals!
